Use this simple extension for the AKAI LPD8 as a sampler. Add wav samples simply to any of the PADs, and you can play on it velocity sensitively right away. Tune the pitch with the knobs or shape the start and end of the sample. All of the pads has its own stereo output in the mixer of your editor, so you can use effects on the samples independently.

Four different setups can be found int he package for the knobs. These must be loaded in the own softvare of the AKAI LPD8.

1 preset: 8 PAD (pitch)
2 preset: 8 PAD (decay)
3 preset: 1-4 PAD (attack-decay)
4 preset: 5-8 PAD (attack-decay)

All parameters can be automated.
